Generations
Generations is an early composition by Eugene Marlow that he introduced for the time at a 1981 ASCAP jazz songwriting workshop led by Dr. Billy Taylor. It was at this workshop that Marlow initiated an almost three-decade relationship with Taylor. The composition has a quasi-rock/bossa nova rhythmic feel, a version of which was recorded by pianist/composer Harold Danko-led quartet several years later.
