A single-track digital release, Breakthrough, a hip-hop oriented compilation by Eugene Marlow, was created for budding choreographer Hannah Levy for her dance of the same name, as part of the Young Dancemakers Company program. Breakthrough was produced with hip-hop beats and sound effects.
The piece accompanied the dance performances of Ms. Levy’s Breakthrough at numerous locations in the New York metropolitan area, including the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theatre, Symphony Space, and the Harlem School of the Arts.
