Namaste Ensemble/Trio
The Namaste Ensemble is organized by renowned clarinetist Guido Arbonelli, a longtime promoter of the contemporary clarinet repertoire. Depending on the musical needs, the Ensemble is at times reconfigured for trio.
The trio for Aspetta Ancora Qualque Minuti (Wait A Few More Minutes) features Guido Arbonelli (clarinet), Natalia Benedetti (clarinet), Michele Fabrizi (piano).
The Namaste Ensemble explores alternative musical expression as a way to present a contemporary musical repertoire. The relationship between composers and performers is the basis of the Namaste Ensemble philosophy: to create a deep synergy between the time of the creation of the composition and its interpretation and performance.
The Ensemble has performed unusual programs ranging from contemporary music to jazz, from tango to modern music, and from classical to film music created by Nino Rota and E. Morricone.
Ensemble Namaste has toured in Europe, Japan, and the United States and has teamed up with influential Italian composers (M. Porro, G. Garbarino, F. Festa, Mangani, C. Boccadoro, N. Oldrini, A. Cavallari) as well as international composers (S. Nichifor, A. Girgn, C. Delgado, O. Ben Amotz, D. Ghezzo, N. Gerszewski, J. Pineiro, and E. Marlow).
Countless compositions especially written for the Namaste Ensemble have been performed in important national and international festivals, such as the London Ear Contemporary Music Festival, Flame (Florence), Spoleto Festival, Edinburg Fringe Festival, August 2nd Bologna Festival, and the Neue Musik Festival (Hamburg).
