WHAT CLIENTS HAVE SAID ABOUT THE HERITAGE ENSEMBLE:

"Your remarkable ingenuity in resetting very familiar Hebraic melodies into concert-jazz settings inspires a sense of renewed commitment to our Jewish heritage, and reminds us that we are a surviving people precisely because of our abilities to adapt to new realms and bring our unique culture and philosophies always into the present."

Charles M. Mirotznik, President, Dance Library of Israel

"On behalf of the Board of Trustees and the SAJ Community, thank you for providing us with a special evening which will be remembered for a very long time."

Dolores Pellman
Chairperson, Board of Trustees
Society for the Advancement of Judaism

"We at Beyond Shelter want to thank you for being with us at our fund-raising Jewish Festival of Music. You certainly added so much to that evening, not only as great individual musicians, but also by taking old familiar Hebrew tunes and combining them with our American art form of jazz. It is such a unique idea. The audience loved it, and you helped make the evening a huge success."

Anne Meyer (Program Chair)
Henry Freedman (Beyond Shelter Chair)
Jewish Festival of Music/Symphony Space

"You skillfully unfolded a playfulness full of musical wit and harmonic fun. Using jazz to illuminate traditional Jewish melodies, you made the familiar into the sublime."

Rabbi Edward Feld
Society for the Advancement of Judaism

"I want to thank The Heritage Ensemble for its performance at City of Hope's Hearts for Hope event. Your group was a wonderful addition to the evening and added a special flair. As with many events, it is the entertainment that makes it memorable. Thank you for being that memorable part of the evening."

Maren Gaughan, Associate Vice President of Development

"Thanks for adding the magic to our events."

Karen Ellis
Executive Director, Advancement Operations
Baruch College,
New York City

"Thanks for such a wonderful evening. The music really gave the symposium a touch of class."

Paul Arpaia, Schwartz Communications Institute

"The Heritage Ensemble performed in front of an impossible crowd of artists, academics and anarchists from Australia, France, England, Israel, Brazil, the United States and California. For this party I was looking for an experience that was quintessentially New York. The Heritage Ensemble delivered beyond my expectations... cool, understated, sophisticated, so New York. They were great."

Paul Thompson
New York University

"Thanks so very much for the gift of your music at my retirement party. It will always bring a smile to my lips whenever I remember it! The creativity was such a gift and a true inspiration."

Professor Talia Schenkel
